I welcome the introduction of two new police teams in his constituency and I am delighted that a transport hub team in Hayes Town will be launched on Monday. With a police sergeant, a constable and seven PCSOs working in this unit, they will reduce crime and anti-social behaviour on buses.

I also look forward to seeing the results of a new police team introduced earlier this month. The police sergeant and eleven police constables in this unit are specifically targetting crime hot spots in Hillingdon, so I expect a real reduction in the level of crime.

My constituents have a right to feel safe and secure. It is absolutely crucial that combatting crime is a top priority.
