I welcome the coroners verdict as it now presents some closure for the bereaved families – though they will never forget the loved ones that have been lost and nor shall London.

As the appointed Chairman of the London Resilience Team to whom five of the nine recommendations that The Rt. Hon Lady Justice Hallett makes refer to. I will vigorously review the recommendations and hold the services to account. London has changed for the better since July 7th 2005 and Londoners can rest assured that we are doing all that we can to assure their safety.
